Five linemen plus X and Z are on the line; H, S, QB, and RB are off. This accounts for eleven players and a seven-player line. The five linemen and checking back provide the six-person protection structure. The diagram shows a four-down reference defense without claiming its coverage.

Where will the receiver be when the ball arrives?
future position = current position + velocity × flight time
For a short interval, constant velocity is a useful first model. Mark positions in a fixed field coordinate frame and use the same clock for receiver and ball. An illustrative 6 yd/s receiver covers 6 yd during a 1 s flight; those numbers are assumptions, not values read from this diagram.
A cut, acceleration, route adjustment, camera motion, or different flight time changes the answer. This relation does not establish who was open or what the quarterback intended.
